Without a doubt, attending the Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair, often referred to as the "Canton Fair," is one of the highlights of my job. Nowhere in the world will you find a larger gathering of a more diverse group of people coming together for a common cause. And what a noble cause indeed: to buy cheap Chinese products and dump them onto global markets!

Over the course of the last two weeks I have seen nearly every generic product that will hit American, European, Latin American, African or Asian shelfs in the next six months. Admittedly its mostly junk, but I think there is a lot of money to be made on some of this stuff!!

Check out the massage chairs I have begun marketing through my new firm, The Back Rub Hub. I was especially pleased to discover that no company at the fair could offer a better product or a more competitive price than the supplier I have been working with since late last year.

I did manage to identify a few promising suppliers of high quality toilets for my day job at Wasauna. Now the fun part: next week I'm headed to a toilet factory, a real dream come true for me.
