Challenge the Assumptions

Is there a point on earth that if you travel 200 miles South, then 200 miles East, then 200 miles North, you return to the exact same point?

Hint: read the title again

is each trip roundtrip? If so, then any of the three situtations can return a person to the same point if one travels 50miles out and 50miles back to the starting point. We often do this when we commute to and from work.

I say any point on the globe. Since the earth rotates on its N-S axis. So the questions really depends on the speed of such travel (200 miles South, East, North)
