I just completed my MBA at Columbia Business School in New York City this Spring. Recently the blog has been focused on investing and doing business in Africa. I started it, however, when I got sick of mass e-mailing friends and family everytime something weird happened during the two years I worked in China. Check the archives and multimedia galleries (below) to find lots of great stories, pictures, and videos from travels in the U.S., China, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Kenya and other parts of the world.

CBS has started a very laudable initiative in its drive to develop business case studies with roots in African Entrepreneurialship. Prof. Murray Low's team to Nigeria, led by Ryan Petersen, and the case study on the Computer Warehouse Group, has cetainly set the pace to correct hitherto negative stereotypes about business in Africa. i hope CNN shall pick up from Della Bradshaw's article in the Financial Times to showcase this success story perhaps on the 'inside Africa' series, to counterbalance some of the other stories on war, aids, corruption etc. Entrepreneurialship in Africa has surely come of age.
