Columbia Kayaking Club

Columbia's Kayaking Club needs a few new undergraduate members to keep us going as an official club (actually, to reinstate us since we've been been banished for falling below the "4 undergrad officer" minimum). If you're a Columbia College student, please e-mail me to find out how to get involved. Grad students and alumni are welcome too, of course. There is a class for beginners and one for intermediates in Uris Pool during the Spring/Fall semesters.

Import Genius - International Trade Secrets Revealed



Import Genius is a Web application that allows you to search international trade records to find out where your competitors are buying their products overseas, as well as where your overseas suppliers are selling in the U.S. The company charges a monthly subscription service to businesses that want to access the database. I just took a job with the firm and started working this week, so if you are interested in accessing these kinds of reports, let me know.
